Project 52 #44

I am taking part (actually, it’s Marichéri who is taking part. I cannot take a picture without it being lopsided, fuzzy and overexposed, even at night. But Marichéri takes great pictures, so I volunteered him and then I told him. He did not mind at all. Probably) in Ma’s project 52. You have to post a photo every week for a year, following a given subject. You can find all the participants and explanation on Ma’s blog.

This week, we are going outside. Because the weather is miserable, we decided to pick a picture from this summer. We are in Jimmy’s farm, a great (and very famous) farm in Nort Essex, where Londoners (and us) come to admire authentic pigs and carrots and all that sort of agricultural things. Jimmy is a childhood friend of Jamie Oliver, and he ha salsa committed a few to series. But the place is great, it’s a real working farm, not some aseptised animals park…It’s also an opportunity for PrincesseChipie to show of her great sense of style.

  3. Lucile says:

“Why on earth, do foreigners* always wear sandals with socks?? I really don’t get it”
I believe I’ve eared my grandma pronouncing that sentence every single Summer, every time we went together to the market. I have to confess that I found it weird too… Well, now, I live in North of France and I might better understand the idea (even if I haven’t been here long enough to be able to apply that particular style to me…)
Grandma would love flowery dress with pink trousers though…

*foreigners=tourists, meaning mainly Germans, Dutch… and of course French from the northern part of the country (was in South of France) . Big lovers of the “socks and sandals” trend.
